Late in the summer, my sister-in-law and I signed up the kids for free bowling. Today we actually took our second trip to the bowling alley, but I didn't get any pictures of Jilly bowling the first time a few weeks ago. It's a great deal, and I anticipate we'll do it again next summer. Two free games of bowling for the kids every day through September 19th. Both times the kids only bowled one game (with a 2-1/2 year old and an almost 4 year old, one game still took 45 minutes). The program is free and Jillian's feet are too small for bowling shoes at the bowling center. So no shoe rental fee. Score.
The "ramp" and bumpers is the way to go with the littler kiddos, though Jillian would probably love to do it without the ramp. We'd just be there for five hours waiting for the ball to get to the pins...
Jillian and her cousin Mariah having fun when we arrived.
Jilly wanted to use both balls!
Approaching the lane...
Lining up her shot...
Jilly broke 100 the first time (with my help "aiming" the ramp) and bowled an 85 today with minimal help from me. Yeah, she comes by it honest... ;-)
